I am fundamentally interested in the journey from genomics to precision medicine, and the actionable insights data can provide across various fields. This includes not only the development of biomedical applications, but also market and business development strategies.
Previously, I worked across scientific research, data analysis, and business development at the Gulbenkian Institute for Science, the Berlin Institute for Medical Systems Biology/Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine, and ElementZero Biolabs. I also take pride in being a global citizen, having resided in Lisbon, Paris, Berlin, Rome, and Warsaw.
In addition to research, I have developed a grounded understanding of the clinical underpinnings of disease through close family exposure to oncology, as well as cardiovascular and renal conditions. This experience has familiarised me with contemporary clinical practice, hospital environments, and modern diagnostic and therapeutic pathways, including advanced clinical trials and individualized treatment strategies.
